Here & Now for all time

The Echo’s S Sorrensen has taken readers jungle trekking in Thailand and on board the anti-whaling ship the Steve Irwin in his regular Here & Now column. Now, in an act of typical altruism, he has compiled a book of his best columns and is attempting to sell what people have been getting for free in The Echo for the past 18 months.

“People do question me about this marketing technique, but having tried to put 18 months of Echos into my back pocket, I decided having a book was a better strategy,” S said.

This is his third book of Echo columns, having previously released The Essential S Sense and ChangeS.

Here & Now will be launched at Caddies Coffee Shop in Carrington St next Thursday, December 3, from 6pm.

There will be wine, nibbles and live music as well as readings from the book.

While some of the 60 columns in the book follow S on his globe trotting misadventures, most deal with the minute detail of living on the North Coast.

Books are $20 each and S will be happy to sign them for no extra cost and reckons they would make a great Christmas present.

Books are available from The Echo office, Noah’s Arc or email ssorrensen@gmail.com.
