Here comes the bride?

The Bride As Banquet is something unique - a visual feast that you won't forget. Denise N Rall is presenting an amazing installation that plays with issues touching consumption and desire, featuring costume, installation and wearable art at The Channon Gallery. The exhibition explores the realm of contemporary engagement between 'the dress' and how it stages the bride as a confection of lace, fabric and desire. The Bride As Banquet constructs a discourse between contradictory notions of the bridal costume. The exhibition runs from this Saturday, February 25, with an exhibition launch at 3pm, until April 1. RSVPs for the launch are essential by Friday, February 24, to 6688 6322.
