Helping hands needed

Caritas Australia and AusAID are looking for willing hands to help with the set up of a free exhibition called Blueprint for a Better World.

The interactive multimedia exhibition and photographic exposé brings audiences face to face with the realities of extreme poverty and explains strategies for achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

The exhibition will be on show at the Lismore Workers Club from March 24-31 and ‘handy man type’ people are needed to help set the exhibition up on March 22 and 23, and then dismantle it again on April 1.

Caritas is also needs volunteers to act as co-hosts at the exhibition each morning and afternoon. A training session will be held on Wednesday, March 3, from 1pm.

School are also welcome to book now for a tour of the exhibition. Phone Celia Carroll on 8306 3489 or email celiac@caritas.org.au.
