Heartfelt win just a click away

A simple click of the mouse could win local charity Heartfelt House $1500.

Coles online have a promotion every quarter where three charities across Australia are recognised for their contribution to their community. Heartfelt House, which assists adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, was thrilled to learn they were one of the three non-profit organisations to receive $1000.

The second part of the promotion is a People's Choice Award in which one of the three will win a further $1500 - and that's where you come in.

"We need everyone to go to the Coles online 'Click for Community' website and place a vote for Heartfelt House," executive director Vicki Hamilton urged. "We know we have a lot of support out there, we just need our supporters to take a minute to click!"

Heartfelt House is up against two large charities in Victoria and Queensland but right now Heartfelt has narrowly hit the lead, so get online to ensure they pocket the $1500.

Voting closes on January 20.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
