Health and well-being day

Interrelate Family Centres invite you to celebrate community and your health at a health and well-being day on Saturday, November 6. Old Bonalbo Hall will be filled with health practitioners offering a range of healing modalities for men and women to try out including massage, reflexology, reiki, naturopathy, orthobionomy, stretching and strengthening exercises, polarity therapy, flower essences, pranic healing, chakra chimes, natural skin care treatment, electrodermal health screening, aboriginal spirit card reading and relationship/communication consultation.

Interrelate’s Nava Henry said the event is part of the centre’s rural support program and invites families to come along and share their interest in mental, emotional and spiritual health in this community development activity.

“You’ve got nothing to lose and lots to gain,” Mr Henry said. “People can complete a well-being questionnaire and get a health check of their hearing, vision, blood glucose level and height/weight index; and they can learn about men’s and women’s health issues.”

The event will be held from 9.30am till 3pm and the cost is $5 per person, which includes morning and afternoon tea from the Country Women’s Association and a lunch BBQ from the Rural Fire Service.
