HAYDEN Panettiere has secretly gotten engaged.

The 'Nashville' actress is reportedly going to tie the knot with her World Heavyweight Champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko after the on/off couple - who initially split in 2011 - reconciled in January.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Very few people know, and she isn't wearing her ring publicly yet."

The 23-year-old beauty is said to be quietly planning a wedding, with the source adding: "Looks like a summer wedding!"

Hayden first began dating Wladimir, 37, in 2009 but the couple ended their romance just two years later in 2011.

The former couple appeared to be back on after a year-long break, however, when they were spotted exchanging public displays of affection earlier this year.

While Hayden has yet to publicly confirm their reunion, the couple were spotted getting cosy just earlier this week sitting court-side at a Miami Heat basketball game earlier this week.

The diminutive actress - who at 5ft 2in is dwarfed by the towering 6ft 6in brawler - previously dated her 'Heroes' co-star Milo Ventimiglia, despite being 12 years his junior, but the controversial relationship ended in 2009.

The actress has previously admitted she preferred dating athletes because they aren't "exactly in your industry" but understand the hectic lifestyle that comes with fame.

She said: "They're in similar circles, where they understand the schedule, the work ethic, the social aspect, but they're not exactly in your industry, so it works out well."
