Having a whale of a time

Last year I went whale watching with my grandparents in Byron Bay.

I had to wear six layers because it was very cold out on the sea.

We saw two big whales jumping out of the water and doing back flips. Then we saw two big blue whales and their baby.

There were two boats and when we joined up they passed a box of lollies over and we got two each. Then I fell asleep.

My grandparents and the other people saw a turtle. When I woke up we had some more lollies and went back to the beach.

I had a very good day.
