ClARE Bowditch is coming to Bangalow A&I Hall on Friday, October 12, as part of her The Winter I Chose Happiness tour.

The Winter I Chose Happiness is also the name of her new album.

Clare will sing songs of happiness - it's her new tack in a search for meaning (and money). The album has already spawned a single You Make Me Happy which was used on the TV series Offspring. Clare made her acting debut there too. She was happy about that.

Tickets are $44.90 or $68.90 (with a copy of her new CD) from

The doors to happiness open at 7pm.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
