Madison is one of only four female referees from Northern NSW Football to have been selected among 22 referees from across Australia to officiate at the tournament.

The match officials will act as referees, assistant referees and fourth officials in front of Football Federation Australia (FFA) elite referee coaching staff, who will provide assessments and feedback after every game.

The tournament is part of the program used to promote pathways for match officials.

The championships, which started on Monday, involve the country's best 13 years and 15 years girl soccer players.

Far North Coast players selected in Northern NSW teams include Jamilla Rankin in the Under-13s, Claire Farrington and Breanna Gatt in the Under-15s.

The Under-15s assistant coach is former Lismore player Ashley Wilson.

The championships are being played at the Coffs Harbour International Stadium and will be completed tomorrow.
