Craig Lee hits stunning round at Crans-sur-Sierre

UNHERALDED Scot Craig Lee came within a shot of equalling the lowest-ever official round on the European Tour at the European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland.

The 36-year-old, ranked 348 in the world, fired nine birdies in the first 10 holes on his way to a course record 10-under par 61.

That gave him a two-shot lead from a group of three players ahead of the final round overnight.
