Gina Yashyere (pictured) broke onto the American comedy scene with her appearances on Last Comic Standing (NBC) where she made it to the final 10. Gina Yashere’s live appearances are legendary. Her bombastic delivery, infectious personality and cheeky observations have stunned audiences not just in the UK and US, but also in Japan, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Canada and Europe.

Gina hails from London via Nigerian parents and shoots from the hip. Following an early career as an elevator engineer, Yashere made her comedy debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996. Since then Gina has continued to take the comedy world by storm. She released a DVD, Skinny Bitch, and has made numerous appearances on TV, radio and the big screen.

Gina Yashere is in Australia on a national tour and will play the Byron Services Club next Monday, April 19, from 8pm. Joel Salom is support and Mandy Nolan will MC. Tickets are $25/20 from the club or book on 6684 3443.
