Ganga returns with drummer

Ganga Giri (pictured) can sure play the didgeridoo. His shows are pumping dance fests mixing the didge with fat beats, funky dub bass lines and multilingual vocals. The didge-meister will perform with his new band at Coorabell Hall on Friday, November 6, from 7pm.

Ganga Giri has been touring Canada and the US and returns to his homeland with Jomick - a dancehall vocalist from French Guyana. Ganga Giri has also incorporated a real drummer, replacing the backing DJ he previously used. Should give the music a more live feel.

It'll be an uplifting celebration at the old hall that overlooks Byron. Tickets are $20/15 and the beats (fat or bulimic) start at 8pm.
