Fundraising benefit for local scu student

An all-star band of local jazz talent will be performing at a fundraising benefit for SCU student Lauren Coyle at the Lismore City Bowlo on Tuesday, September 15, from 8pm.

Lauren, a vivacious and well-loved young vocal student, has recently been diganosed with an aggressive cancer and is undergoing treatment. Funds are needed to help her pay for her treatment and to then continue her studies at SCU. Local performers donating their musical talents and performing on the night include Leigh Carriage, Dave Sanders, Greg Lyon, Steve Russell, Jim Kelly, Elizabeth Lord, Martha Baartz, Tupelo Honey, Jack Thorncraft, Peter Martin and Al Hughes. There will also be a raffle and prizes so come along, have fun and help Lauren. Tickets cost $15/10.
