French film feast

The French Film Festival screens at the Ballina Fair Cinemas this Friday to Sunday, April 30 to May 2.

Presented by the Alliance Française Côte du Nord (North Coast Alliance Francaise), this is a rare opportunity for North Coasters to enjoy contemporary new releases from France.

The three days of cinema features La Fille de Monaco (The Girl From Monaco), Les Enfants de Timplebach (Trouble at Timpetil), Les Bureaux de Dieu (God’s Offices), LOL (Laughing Out Loud) and Comme Les Autres (Baby Love).

Tickets are $12/10/8 per film or $50/45 for all five films and are available from Ballina Cinemas (6686 9600) or online from www.afcdn.org.au.

Please note that all films have English subtitles. Good.
