A FOURTH person has been arrested in relation to the murder of Tamworth police officer David Rixon.
On Thursday, a 29-year-old woman was charged with having been an accessory after the fact and hindering police investigation.
Senior Constable Rixon, 40, was gunned down on Friday, March 2, when he stopped a car in a quiet Tamworth street.
A 48-year-old man has been charged with his murder and is currently before the courts.
A 22-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were also charged earlier this year with having been an accessory after the fact and hindering police investigation.
Investigations are continuing.
