Neil Patrick Harris spills on Whoopi’s sex offer

NEIL Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg have had an awkward exchange on The View … involving a sex deal.

The former How I Met Your Mother actor talked about working with Goldberg on Clara's Heart in 1988 and recalled a conversation that caught him off-guard.

"You know, I did my first movie ever with Whoopi Goldberg. A movie called Clara's Heart," Harris said.

"She told me, I was 15, 16 years old, she told me on my last day of shooting that in 10 years' time she was going to have sex with me," he said, according to Page Six.

The audience erupted with a mixture of shock and laughter.

Goldberg, 62, who sat at the opposite end of the table with a smirk, then quipped, "I might've!"

Former How I Met Your Mother star Harris, now 45, seemingly wanted to follow up on the sexual promise.

"He had many questions as a kid, so I said, 'Listen, wait 10 years, and I'll take you through it.' In those days, you could actually have some fun like that. You can't do that now. People get very upset now."

To quell any murmurs of drama, Harris stated he wasn't offended by Goldberg's commentary and that he's looking forward to it.
