Forever keen to help others

The Forever the Young Dreamtime Performers (pictured) is a group of young people with disabilities who love to sing, dance, act and help out other people.

Last year they held a special concert to raise money for a local woman with Motor Neurone Disease and this year they are putting on another concert to raise funds for the Lismore Soup Kitchen.

Last year's event attracted around 500 people, and organiser Jacqui McLeod is hoping for another big turn out. She said people are always touched when Forever the Young Dreamtime Performers take to the stage.

The gala springtime performance, concert, dinner and dance will be held on Saturday, November 14, at the Goonellabah Workers Sports Club from 6-10pm. Tickets are $35.

Bookings are required ASAP for catering. For more information or to secure a seat, phone Jacqui on 6624 5618.
