For one night only!

Pop/retro/surf/rock band (What? No samba?) The Durga Babies are reforming for a gig at the Nimbin Hotel this Friday, February 12.

Hooray! The original line up (Michael, Nathan and Tim) is back on the North Coast – all at the same time! So the lads thought it would be fun to go back to their old stomping ground and relive some fabulous times. (And the punters think this is a good idea too!) This Nimbin-based band created a large following a few years back and this one-off special show is sure to be a popular gig.

The Durgas are about sweet, sweet harmonies, wild guitar, and a red-lining engine room of rhythm – all of which creates a kind of folky pop with a big danceable edge.

These boys have great original tunes and an obvious joy in performing them.

The Durga Babies will be supported by the Baby Durgas. (It’s a big night of durga – durga durga durga.)

The gig is free and the back-beat bliss starts at 7.30pm.
