Floodwaters headed back down
FLOODWATERS are receding at Lismore and have reached their peak at Coraki and Bungawalbyn, the Bureau of Meteorology has said.
A flood warning from the Bureau remains in place for the Richmond and Wilsons rivers remains in place at the three flooding hot-spots following from Saturday's downpour.
The Wilsons River at Lismore peaked last night at 5.56m and had fallen back to 5.18m as of 8.05am. Coraki had been expected to peak at 4.1m about 9am today, but passed that point last night and had reached its peak of 4.3m by 7.45am today.
Bungawalbyn was expected to peak at 3.7m at 9am but also passed that point last night, edging up to 3.98m by 7.45am today. It eas expected to peak at 4.1m about 10am.
