Flood training for businesses

A FLOOD safety education session for businesses will be held at Lismore on Wednesday.

The event is being hosted by the NSW SES.

It will involve staff from Lismore City Council, the Lismore Chamber of Commerce and the SES, who will provide information about the nature and risk of flooding in the CBD.

The SES will also provide advice on how business owners can minimise the effects of a flood on their business.

The education session will be held at the Lismore Workers Club tomorrow from 5.30pm.

For more information or to register, email Janet Pettit from the SES or phone her on 6625 7700.
