FOR those for whom time is no problem, Cruiseco has a whole five weeks cruising in four-star luxury aboard P&O's Arcadia from Buenos Aires to Sydney by way of Cape Horn, South American glaciers and the islands of the South Pacific.
The 83,000 tonne Arcadia carries nearly 2000 passengers and will sail from Buenos Aires on January 23 next year, spending a full day each in Puerto Madryn, Port Stanley, rounding Cape Horn, a day each in Ushuaia and Punta Arenas, sail-bys of the Amalia and PIO X glaciers, and a full day each in Chacabuco, Puerto Montt, Valparaiso, Papeete, Bora Bora, Suva, Noumea (half day,) Brisbane and finally Sydney.
Prices begin from $6935pp twin share including one way economy class airfare from Sydney to Buenos Aires, two nights pre-cruise stay at the Hotel Madero Buenos Aires, 35 nights aboard Arcadia with all meals and entertainment, and all port, government and air taxes.
Onboard gratuities are additional and payable aboard Arcadia.
The four-star Arcadia has six restaurants, cafes, grills and a food court, nine bars and lounges, a theatre, casino, internet centre, pool, spa, gym, sports court, library and an art gallery.
