And the price? Well you won't get any change from $550,000. But more than 30% of that goes straight to government coffers courtesy of GST and luxury car tax.
So at that price it's "just" $25,500 more expensive than the 458 Italia.
But this isn't just a special edition of the 458 which was first launched four years ago.
No. This is the spiritual successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia. They are renowned for their track prowess.

Only about 50-60 458 Speciales are expected to make it to Australia, and those putting their names in the queue now can expect to wait about 18 months for their car.
