Feast of blues in Dunoon

The very best way to enjoy music is when it's live.

Live performances are unique and anything might happen. The spontaneity, the improvisation, all add to the event.

This year's Village Blues Festival in Dunoon will feature live music at its best in the comfy, funky surrounds of the Dunoon Sports Club this Saturday, October 31.

There are many styles of the blues - ranging from the traditional to the rock-inspired.

The festival, which starts at 4.30pm, will kick off with the Perch Creek Trio and will then showcase the bluesy talents of local bands The Hoochers, Repentance Creek and Tightrope Alley, plus Brisbane outfit, The Summerland Band.

The venue has cold beer and entry is free - ain't that fantastic?
