Enviro comp for schools

Enviro Inspiro! is open.

The NSW Student Representative Council invites students in NSW public schools to create a five-minute media presentation and a two-page written report to showcase their successful, student-led environmental projects.

Schools and student teams can win one of three major prizes valued up to $3000.

Some suitable projects schools may consider are educating students in the school about environmental sustainability, developing a school or local area such as a bush tucker garden, improving the school or local environment using recycled materials, improving shade areas for students, revegetating barren areas, educating students in the school about being water wise, and auditing and improving waste management.

The Enviro Inspiro! competition closes on Friday, June 22.
