Emmanuel shows its creative flair

The students from Emmanuel Anglican College have been busy sewing, painting, cooking, crafting and singing in preparation for their annual Creative Arts Showcase.

Opening night is next Thursday, November 11, from 6.30pm. The community is invited to come and enjoy a fashion parade by design and textile students and check out the artists of the future in the visual arts and industrial technology and textile section. There will also be musical entertainment and the food tech students will be creating and serving some delicious light refreshments.

Then on Saturday, November 13, Emmanuel Anglican College is hosting a Harvest Fair which is simply a great day out for the whole family.

There will be stilt walking and tumbling by the Circus Arts Troupe plus lots of other live performances, plus heaps of rides and games for the kids including farm animals, craft activities, laser skirmish and much more. Of course there will also be heaps of stalls selling local produce, plants and bargains, raffles and prizes, plus oodles of yummy food!

The Harvest Fair runs from 10am to 2pm. For info, phone 6681 5054.
