Early-morning brawl at Bondi

A BONDI all-in brawl involving 60 people has ended with five arrests and at least one in hospital.

New South Wales police reported the fight broke out in the Oxford Street Mall in Bondi Junction before 2am on Thursday.

The 60 had been at a promotional event when a number of fights broke out.

When police arrived, the violence ended but five landed in custody.

Three men - aged 18, 19 and 20 - were taken to Waverley Police Station.

The younger teenager was later taken to St Vincent's Hospital by paramedics after allegedly head-butting a wall and door.

The trio were expected to be charged with a number of offences - including assault, affray, offensive behaviour and resisting arrest.

Meanwhile, two other men, aged 18 and 28, have been told to appear at Waverley Local Court for similar offences.
Investigations are ongoing.
