Duellin Duos at the Gollan

Ruthie-ma-Toothie drop a time machine in the Gollan this Saturday.

Stripped-down songs, delivered the old-fashioned way, is the modus operandi of the Duelling Duos, at the Gollan Hotel, Lismore, this Saturday, July 28.

Ruthie-ma-Toothie, a two piece fiddle and guitar outfit, specialise in reinvented versions of great songs of yesteryear.

Genna Pyewacket on fiddle is a hypothetical gypsy Ella Fitzgerald and Rohan Langford on guitar plays a spaghetti western Townes Van Zandt.

Jim-Bob is Jimmy Willing and Davey Bob Ramsay, crossing pre-Second World War folk and blues with rambling back-country ballads.

Authentic guitar pickin' and songs spinning the truth into legend. Amble into the Gollan from 8.30pm for a double dose of the latest old-fashioned things around.
