Well connected drug dealer gets three years in jail

A WELL connected drug dealer from the NSW mid north coast has been sentenced to three years jail.

John Charles Dodd was a major supplier of methamphetamines in the Woolgoolga and Coffs Harbour areas for a number of years.

Several expensive power tools discovered at his Woolgoolga property were seized as suspected proceeds of crime.

He fronted the Coffs Harbour District Court on Wednesday charged with 17 related offences.

Judge Peter Maiden ordered that the cannabis and methamphetamines discovered during raids of Dodd's home, be destroyed.

Dodd will be eligible for parole next year.
