Downstairs in Byron no mix-up

Local band The Downstairs Mix-Up (pictured) won the National Campus Band Competition last year beating more than 350 other bands for the title. Now this eight-piece is launching its self-titled debut EP.

The Byron Bay Brewery plays host to the launch this Saturday night, February 20. Charlotte Marshall and Band will warm up the crowd from 8.30pm.

The Downstairs Mix-Up are a bit like 70s acts Steely Dan, Little Feat and Frank Zappa. They play original music loaded with energy and humour.

You’re welcome to share the fun. Entry is free.
