The Serpentine Gallery presents a double opening this week.

Paula Sinclair unveils her first solo exhibition, For The Love Of Women, this Friday, July 20.

A bold and striking exhibition of large paintings, it starts at 6pm.

In the other room a group exhibition, Yes Please, is from local emerging artists presenting some of their latest work.

Chat to the artists over a bevvy. Everyone's a critic.

Both exhibitions run until July 30.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
