Don't spare the rod...
Do you want to see a man stretch his scrotum and bend his penis to create a replica of one of the First Fleet sailing ships? Is a night watching two men play with their willies (outside of a bedroom situation) excite the voyeur in you?
Then Puppetry of the Penis is just the ticket!
The world’s strangest puppeteers (no g-strings attached) are heading to the Star Court Theatre in Lismore this Thursday, February 4, with their international hit show.
Puppetry of the Penis was initially conceived by Simon Morley as the title of an art calendar, showcasing twelve of his favourite penis installations. (Ain’t art grand?)
It was on New Year’s Eve in 1997, with a garage full of calendars to sell and burgeoning requests for live demonstrations, when Simon finally decided to unleash his penile talent on the world. He chose David Friend as his performance partner.
Their debut at the 1998 Melbourne International Comedy Festival was a huge hit, kicking off an eight-month tour of Australia. The show has since had extensive runs on Broadway and in West End, London.
Now it’s a franchise and there are now several Puppetry of the Penis troupes touring the world. And there’s no swearing or innuendo in the show either, just two guys playing with their willies. Good, clean stuff with plenty of cock-ups.
Tickets are $34.90/31.90 and available through Norpa on 1300 066 772 or by visiting www.norpa.org.au.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
