DIY rain and river readings

Ray asked us to publish the following information to help people find their way to the relevant pages on the World Wide Web.

To view river height and rainfall information for the North Coast and Tuckurimba in particular, go to the BOM main page at http://www.bom.gov.au.

Click on NSW on the map of Australia.

Go down to the heading ‘Flood warnings, Rainfall and River Information’. Click on NSW Flood Warning Centre.

Go to Latest Products, on the right-hand side of the page. Click on Rain and River Data incl Plots).

For river levels, go to Latest River Height Data. Click on Tweed, Brunswick, Richmond Wilsons, Clarence and a table will come up with all the river heights in the areas.

For Tuckurimba, go down the page to Wilsons River and you will see the site, Wilsons River at Tuckurimba. Click on the Plot link to view the river level or go to Table to view the heights.

For rainfall, go back one page and down to Rainfall Bulletins and click on the 1hr, 3hr or 24hr link in the Tweed, Brunswick, Richmond Wilsons, Clarence line and then go down to the Wilsons River and you will see the Rainfall site for Tuckurimba and the other stations.
