Defective tunes

WAY back in '78 in Punkville, Northern Ireland, four blokes with spikey hair and studded leather jackets formed a punk band - The Defects. They recorded an EP (Dance Till You Drop), drank a lot of booze, and created a bit of a buzz with their onstage attitude.

Then some years later punk died - or nearly.

But The Defects are back from the dead. Not so spikey, but still with prickly attitude. And they're playing with noisy Brissie outfit Raygun Mortlock, plus locals Boozehag and Slug at the Lismore City Bowlo next Wednesday, October 17, at 7pm.

Entry is $10 presale from www.eventfinder.com.au. Or $15 at the door.
