ANTHONY Mundine's dream of making it big in America is expected to end in Sydney tonight when he takes on 42-year-old former multiple world champion Shane Mosley for the vacant WBA super welterweight title.
Mosley, who has fought some of the best fighters to step in to a ring, including Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao, was rated a $1.66 favourite yesterday with online betting agency sportsbet.com.au to win the bout.
In May this year the American came out of retirement to beat 23-year-old Mexican Pablo Cesar Cano by a narrow decision over 12 rounds in Cancun to claim the WBC international welterweight belt.
Mundine, who has said he would retire if he was beaten by Mosley, last fought in January when he lost a unanimous points decision to Tasmanian Daniel Geale.
