Cutting edge electronica

STUDIO One29, D block at the Lismore SCU campus hosts Diffuse, a live electronica event this Friday, August 24.

Japanese digital avante-pop musicians Tujiko Noriko and Tyme (Tatsuya Yamada) will crank out works from their recent album, Gyu.

Lismore's experimental group Tralala Blip will perform with sound artist Muttboy, while Dr Grayson Cooke crafts live visuals. Tralala Blip is a collective of differently abled artists inspired by Banjo Paterson, Logic System and Eminem. They've recorded with three different record labels, doing live voice sampling and using interactive gestural controllers.

They kick off the show at 8pm.
