Cup fun helps palliative care

The Blue & White Auxiliary raised $1100 at their Melbourne Cup luncheon last week, which will be used to make life more comfortable for patients in St Vincent’s Palliative Care Unit.

The luncheon was attended by around 85 people, who enjoyed a fashion parade, sweeps and all the fun of the big race. Blue & White Auxiliary president Annette Crimmins said it was a great day, and as luck would have it, Annette drew the winner Shocking in the luncheon sweep.
