Coraki Art Prize carries on

THE CORAKI Art Prize opens this Friday, October 26, at 6.30 pm at the Coraki Conference Centre, despite principal organiser Melva Thompson being struck down by a stroke last month.

There will be food, wine, live music and fine art - all for $15 a head.

The show continues over the weekend (October 27-28) at two venues: The Coraki Conference Centre, on Union Street, and Brandon Hall, on Queen Elizabeth Drive.

With more than $9500 in prize money on offer, over 300 entries are expected across eight categories.
