Cops allege teacher gave kids grog, made them commit crimes

A SCHOOL teacher has been arrested after he allegedly supplied alcohol to children and recruited them to commit crimes on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Police investigating the alleged vandalism of a home at Urunga, raided an office at Coffs Harbour's Orara High School and several homes earlier this week.

On Thursday, three teenage girls were interviewed at the Coffs Harbour station.

The teacher was arrested soon after at his Valla Beach home.

He was charged with recruit child to engage in criminal activity, malicious damage and supply a minor with alcohol and will front court on January 20.
