Cowboy Gavin Cooper gets well-deserved milestone

HE has been one of the real unsung heroes for North Queensland this season and back-rower Gavin Cooper will be out to continue his great form against Manly in his 200th NRL game tonight.

Cooper has played for three clubs in a 10-season NRL career which kicked off at the Cowboys in 2006.

A win against the Sea Eagles would give the Cowboys an unprecedented eighth-straight win on the road, their only away loss this season coming in round three against the Broncos.

The key battle could be in the halves where Cowboys and Queensland pair Johnathan Thurston and Michael Morgan will take on Manly's million-dollar-men, Daly Cherry-Evans and Kieran Foran.
