Con CONcert postponed due to Easter

The next free Lismore Cushion CONcert has been postponed because of Easter and will be held on Sunday, April 11.

“With such a vast range of activities taking place over Easter, including the Byron Bay Blues Festival and other events, we thought it only sensible to put the next Cushion CONcert back a week,” Lismore city centre manager Stephen Nelson said.

Northern Rivers Conservatorium Arts Centre director Janis Balodis said the first two concerts had been packed out and he was looking forward to the next one, which will feature Simple Folk, Luke Vasella and John Gift, and The Captain Cod Jazz Trio, led by local musician Ben Rogers.

The Cushion CONcerts are presented by the Lismore Promotion Program in partnership with the Northern Rivers Conservatorium and The Echo.
