Coalition wants help

Members of the public are encouraged to attend a social policy consultation meeting organised by the NSW Liberals/Nationals at the Goonellabah Workers Sports Club tonight (Thursday, November 19).

Lismore MP Thomas George will host the forum with shadow ministers Jillian Skinner, (Shadow Minister for Health), Pru Goward (Community Services, Women), MLC Melinda Pavey, (Acting Shadow Minister for North Coast and Shadow Minister for Emergency Services) and Steve Cansdell (Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Community Safety).

If you would like to attend the meeting please RSVP to Thomas George’s office on telephone 6621 3624, fax: 6622 1403 or e-mail: lismore@parliament.nsw.gov.au.

“The NSW Liberal/Nationals have released a set of principles and goals to build a smarter, stronger, healthier and safer community,” Thomas George said. “These principles and goals will provide a roadmap of how we intend to implement social policy in Government.

“Good policy is not developed behind closed doors. It is developed in close consultation with the community, business sector and stakeholders.”
