PROJECT Seres is a non-profit association dedicated to creating a sustainable future for communities in Guatemala. It was established by former North Coast girl Corrina Grace who gave up her job as a civil engineer with Macquarie Bank to dedicate her life to educating people to make positive changes in rural communities.
A fundraiser for Project Seres is being held this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, September 22-23) at a property in Clunes where Jenny, June and Vicki will be opening their extensive gardens to the public. The garden has been 14 years in the making, growing from a bare paddock into a series of diverse gardens.
Morning tea will also be provided by Corrina's mum and sister.
The gardens are located in Tildon Drive, off Johnston Road, in Clunes. (There will be signs to direct visitors).
Entry is $10. Enquiries can be directed to Vicki on 6629 1165 or 0432 537 771.
