Close call for child in dam near Booral
UPDATE:
11am Wednesday: THE toddler rushed to Hervey Bay Hospital after almost drowning in a dam near Booral remains in a stable condition and is still under observation at hospital.
EARLIER:
AN 18-month-old child was rushed to Hervey Bay Hospital after a near drowning in a dam near Booral about 3pm on Tuesday.
The child was unconscious but breathing when Hervey Bay critical care ambulance officers arrived at the private property.
The toddler was in a stable condition upon arrival at Hervey Bay Hospital.
The Chronicle contacted Hervey Bay Hospital at 630am Wednesday and is awaiting an update on the child's health.
