DEFENDING champions Chelsea inflicted more misery on Manchester United yesterday morning, the Londoners coming from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw in their FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils, knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid last Tuesday, led 2-0 inside 11 minutes after goals to Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney.
However, Eden Hazard gave Chelsea a lifeline in the 59th minute before Ramires equalised.
No date has yet been set for the replay as Chelsea has a Europa League last-16 second leg to play against Steaua Bucharest this week.
Manchester City will play the winner of the replay in the semi-finals at Wembley next month.
A replay will also be needed to decide who plays Wigan in the other semi after Millwall and Blackburn drew 0-0.
In Premier League action, Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard ended third-placed Spurs' 12-match unbeaten run after scoring the winner from the penalty spot in the 3-2 victory at Anfield.
Newcastle left it late to beat Stoke after Papiss Demba Cisse scored an injury-time winner in the 2-1 win.
