Charges for murdering bikie's son

A MAN has been charged over the stabbing murder of a bikie's son in Sydney last year.

Hayden Burnes, 15, died after being repeatedly stabbed at the Western Sydney industrial estate where his father worked on December 5.

At the time detectives attached to Strike Force Lemongrove were exploring a range of motives including possible links between Hayden's father's involvement with the Lone Wolf bikie gang and the close proximity of a Hells Angels owned business.

Earlier this year, police released CCTV footage of a suspect and a car.

On Monday morning, a 36-year-old man from the Central Coast was arrested in Parramatta.

He was charged with murder on Monday afternoon.Police have also seized a silver Hyundai, which they believe was used before and after the stabbing,

Detective Superintendent Michael Willing said he believed there were "other people" who knew what happened the day Hayden died and urged anyone with information to come forward.Investigations are continuing and police expect to make further arrests.
