FORMER French international Sebastien Chabal has confirmed he will move to Australia in the coming weeks.

The 34-year-old has told French TV he'd be playing in Australia but hasn't revealed which club.

However rather than play Super Rugby, it's emerged Chabal will play a one-off game for Balmain in Sydney's second division suburban competition.

The bearded cult figure has been one of the most popular players in the game in the last decade.
