Matters of the heart

Mumbojumbo is the elegant alliance of four local musicians who think that matters of the heart matter.

So much so they've called their new original album Heart Matters and will be playing selected tracks from it this Saturday, August 4, at Tommy's in Lismore.

The band, made up of Tamara Ward (vocals and sax), Neil Jeffs (guitar), Jon De Laurence (bass), and Jim Lieschke (drums), starts at 9pm.

Singer seeking singers

The Acapelicans, a friendly group of singers who meet for practice in Lennox Head or Alstonville on Wednesday evenings, are looking for some new voices to join them. Tenors are particularly welcome at the moment. For more information or just to come along and see if you enjoy singing with the group, call Rita on 66865384 or Maureen on 66286550.
