Carter country in Lismore

Using raucous and typically Australian humour that infects his songs, stories and original stage gimmicks, Carter Edwards is not just another singer. He's there to entertain.

Carter Edwards started his show biz career as a teenager playing drums, then got into singing when the singer lost his voice. He won perth's New Faces and has been performing ever since and has won two Mo Awards for Most Versatile Entertainer in Australia.

He started his radio career on Radio 2HD Newcastle in 1989 with Carter Edwards Country. He was later inducted into the Australian Country Music Broadcasters Hall Of Fame. Since then his radio career has moved into top gear with The Carter Edwards Show.

With over 9000 shows under his belt, Carter will work his stage magic when he hits the Lismore Workers Club stage next Tuesday, February 21, at 1pm.

Tickets are $15 from www.lismoreworkers. com.au or by phone on 6621 7401. Or at the venue.
