Byron short film comp

Byron All Shorts is currently calling for entries for the second annual Byron All Shorts film competition, presented by iQ Arts & Eco Centre. The Byron All Shorts competition will celebrate filmmaking talent in the Northern Rivers region and encourage audiences to experience the local stories that are produced in the region each year.

This competitive local program will screen on January 23 alongside the Byron Flickerfest three-day screenings of the best of the world’s short films. Two prizes will be awarded as part of the competition – a Jury Award selected by industry professionals, and an Audience Award voted by those in attendance – with prize packages totalling $5000 in value.

Films must be entered in DVD format and be no more than 30 minutes in length. All genres are acceptable for this competition and films are to be completed within two years of the close of entries, and must be from residents of the Northern Rivers, or be films that relate to the Northern Rivers.

For more info phone 6684 5577.
