The fresh faces in Queensland's Sheffield Shield squad continue to roll in, with Sam Heazlett set to debut in the clash against Tasmania at Blundstone Arena starting tomorrow.

The Redlands left-hander, 20, scored 160 for Australia in the Youth Test against England U19s in Perth in April.

Heazlett and Australian U19 teammate Matt Renshaw, who will be playing just his second Shield game, were brought in to cover for batsmen Usman Khawaja and Joe Burns who will line up for Australia in the first Test against New Zealand at the Gabba, starting today.

Apart from losing Khawaja and Burns, leg-spinner Cameron Boyce was left out for seamer Michael Neser (pictured) who has taken 3-15 and 4-28 in recent Brisbane grade cricket matches, and made 103 for the Gold Coast last weekend.

Jason Floros comes into the 12-man squad for veteran all-rounder James Hopes who has been rested as part of his workload management program.
